Votus is a civic tech company dedicated to bridging the gap between citizens and their representatives. On our platform elected officials can communicate instantaneously with their district, and citizens can meaningfully express their opinions on issues relevant to their voting district. Once a user creates an account they are directly connected to their voting districts and representatives. Through our verification process users can verify that they either live and or are registered to vote in their voting district-- giving communities the power to control the conversation.

Users can both submit issues they want their representative to discuss and support other issues submitted by their district neighbors. In turn, the elected officials create community issues based on constituent submissions where they can directly poll and communicate with their constituency on relevant issues. Once a final action is taken on a community issue-- users can let their elected officials know whether they agree or disagree with the resolution.
